Walks of Life
A pair of slippers plush
I was wont to wear
Velvety to the touch;
On evening promenades
Down Chancellor Road,
With her by my side,
A private paradise
In Alma Mater.
Later.
Along squalid lanes
And sleazy alleys,
Rugged and brambly,
‘Tis no place to wear
The pair of slippers plush,
I threw them to the trash.

Thank you
Hi, people. Thanks a lot for visiting my blog. As you might know, its not easy typing Burmese for a newbie like me. It takes lots of time typing, formatting, editing and posting etc. When you say you like them, I feel like you give me credits to my efforts. So, if you do like my blog, please tell your friends. If you have a website, please link to this blog. I really appreciate it. I hope I can post more and more poems.
Thank you all.
Umbra
When the sun is brilliant,
A shadow is cast,
You see an umbra;
When the moon is radiant,
A shadow is cast,
You see an umbra;
When the light fades away
A shadow is cast,
You see an umbra;
In my heart
A shadow is cast
There is an umbra,
Even without light,
The umbra persists,
‘Cause love is refulgent,
Memories linger
So does the umbra.

Resolution
When all and everything around me
Has become entangled and away,
To waver, to be skeptical,
To falter, I say, is unethical.
When circumstances prove to be
Troublesome and bring me worry,
Inconsistent, to be capricious,
To palter, I say, is contemptuous.
In the long drama of existence,
I’ve waited for days a many,
With vapory hopes,
Ne’er lost my patience,
To part, to pine, I do not fancy.

Loss Irreparable
At times,
My heart burns
With the fire
Of ten suns.
At times,
My heart cools
With the light
Of ten moons.
Ten moons ten suns,
Each taking turns,
To cool, to burn,
To scowl, to cheer,
To soothe, to sneer.
Is this thing “Love”
My Honey Dear?
