Walks of Life

A pair of slippers plush
I was wont to wear
Velvety to the touch;
On evening promenades
Down Chancellor Road,
With her by my side,
A private paradise
In Alma Mater.
Later.
Along squalid lanes
And sleazy alleys,
Rugged and brambly,
‘Tis no place to wear
The pair of slippers plush,
I threw them to the trash.

Umbra

When the sun is brilliant,
A shadow is cast,
You see an umbra;

When the moon is radiant,
A shadow is cast,
You see an umbra;

When the light fades away
A shadow is cast,
You see an umbra;

In my heart

Resolution
